A trip to New Orleans (July 2007)

Chad is moving to New Orleans, so he and I took a drive to move some stuff down.  Well after 1 day of straight driving, we ran into the middle of a cattle drive... No really, we were in the middle of the cattle drive, there was a little dog trying to heard us.
 
Check out the feature combo at KFC... it's Livers and Gizzards... in fast food style?  seriously?

And after entering Louisianna, 2 years after Katrina, it still looks like a war zone...
 
This neighborhood is just plain missing... streets, sidewalks, stop signs and fire-hydrants, but no houses for a mile.
 
The rebuilding is happening...
